There have been a lot of inquiries about which class people should attend with the new Fall Schedule. I spoke with a number of the instructors and we agreed that the purpose of the class was best reflected in calling it “Basics”.
On Monday and Wednesday nights the Basics classes will be an hour long and will focus on basic technique. These classes will be open to all belts so if you have a two children and one is a high belt and the other a beginner, they can still attend the same class (and make life a little easier).
The Advanced classes on Tuesday and Thursday will be 90 minutes long and provide instruction on the more advanced techniques required for higher belts (Green Stripe and above). High belts will still get a good workout at Basics but need to ensure that they make it to the Advanced classes as well.
