Master Michael Ives, 6th Dan Black Belt: Master Ives began training in Taekwondo in 1987 receiving his Black Belt in 1992. He has been teaching Taekwondo on P.E.I. since 1993 and is currently the President of the WTF Taekwondo Association of PEI as well as a Director-at-Large with Taekwondo Canada.

Cindy Caissie, 3rd Dan Black Belt:

Tammy Turner, 2nd Dan Black Belt:Tammy began her training January 2004 in Charlottetown, receiving her black belt in May 2008. She decided to become a Taekwondo student when seeking a fun and competitive way to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
She has her Provincial Level 2 Taekwondo referee certification, National Coaching Multi-Sport Level A, B & Competition Development Certification, and the National Coaching Taekwondo Assistant Instructor course. Tammy is currently the Treasurer of the W.T.F Taekwondo Association of P.E.I.

Mandy Li, 2nd Dan Black Belt: Taekwondo is a family affair for Mandy; she began training with her boys in 2003. She is currently the Referee Co-Chair and acting Technical Director of WTF Taekwondo Association of PEI. As a national referee, she often travels to different venues for national events.

Tyler MacNeill, 1st Dan Black Belt:Tyler MacNeill began training in 2004 and received his black belt in 2009. Tyler teaches in Charlottetown on Thursday nights through the summer and on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings through from September to June.

Jason Hogan, 1st Dan Black Belt: Jason Hogan began training Taekwondo in the summer of 2004. In 2010, he received his 1st dan black belt. Jason is also a provincial referee.

Andrew Cameron, 2nd Dan Black Belt:

Devin Li, 2nd Dan Black Belt: Devin began training in Taekwondo at the age of six. He had competed numerous times at local and regional events. Devin was also members of the Junior High Performance team that emphasize on conditioning and sparring techniques. He is an avid skateboarder and enjoys snowboarding in the winter.

Liam MacArthur, 2nd Dan Black Belt:Liam began taekwondo at the age of 7 just after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Liam attended the After School Program for 4 years where he trained 5 days a week. He has competed and medalled in numerous competitions and received his first degree black belt at age 11. Liam enjoys instructing and assisting the younger belts at PEI Taekwondo and in his spare time enjoys sailing and snowboarding. Liam was recently recognized with a Regional Inspiration Award from the Canadian Diabetes Assoc. for his continued volunteer efforts.

Zach Purchase, 2nd Dan Black Belt:

Justin Li, 2nd Poom Jr. Black Belt: Justin began training in Taekwondo in 2003 and received his 1st Poom when he was nine years old. He often enjoys taking part in fight schools, seminars and helping out at different events throughout the year. Justin is an honour student and a skilled gamer.

Hannah Ives, 1st Poom Jr. Black Belt: Hannah started in Taekwondo in 1993 and was 11 years old when she received her Jr. Black Belt. She enjoys teaching kids at the Taekwondo After School program once a week at Island Montessori Academy in Cornwall. Hannah enjoys CrossFit, soccer, snowboarding and taking care of her dog Oscar. Cleaning her room … not so much.
